This project was a re-design of back yard in the hills. In order to create space for the owners, we created terraces that could be used for lounging and overlooking the bay. We used a neutral color scheme so the eye could rest and focus on the new calming space. We added stone retaining walls that served to retain the earth, create the terraces, and create a new and beautiful architecture. We added new pathways with stone steps and gravel to walk on to enhance the walk throughout the property. At the top of the garden, we added a bench swing in order to take advantage of the views and to provide a space in which to relax. The new lighting plan is a part of the architecture of the space. The new plants added color and texture and were selected to match each microzone.
